Friends

If you have everything money can buy and have no friends, you have nothing.

Donna and Len Kastner, who have moved to Pennsylvania to be with family.  Donna is famous for her infectious laugh and Len, a retired engineer from At&T, can fix almost anything Radio Shack sells.  We miss them  but keep in touch via e-mail.

We met Til and Wayne Anderson on a cruise about 10 years ago.  They live in Florida and we do see them occasionally.  Til is a great cook and besides being a brilliant bridge player, Wayne is quite a dancer.  And  that's Brenda Dayhuff whom we met on the same cruise.  We keep in touch via e-mail.

Bill and Tee Noggle.  Good friends from Greensboro, NC.  We visit back and forth occasionally, and meet them in Myrtle Beach once a year, and also for dinner in Greensboro, at our favorite restaurant, George K's.  They are avid golfers, and Tee wins lots of tournaments.

Two of our dear friends, Jean and George Young, have sold their house and are moving to Sarasota, Florida., so we surprized them with a farewell party.  Regrettably, I didn't get pictures of the guests!  However here is a picture of Jean and George opening their gifts.  Center picture is of a banner I made -their picture is in the middle.  The nest picture is of them holding the bouquet of veggies I made for them to take home.

Another couple, Betty and Carl Lindquist have just moved to Pennsylvania.  It seems as though the Lake has lost its charm for a lot of our friends.  Who do you suppose will be next?  One of the local restaurants put this sign up just before they left.
